• TD Jakes’ Love Lesson

TD Jakes has started a new series on his Facebook Page called, “Love Lessons”. Always remember that the wedding only lasts one day…but the marriage should last a lifetime! So you KNOW I had to share! Enjoy!

On the 29th of May, my wife Serita and I will celebrate 30 years of marriage. Through those 30 years God has taught us so many “lessons of love” as only He can through the experience that we call life. It hasn’t always been easy but it has definitely been worth it. As we get closer to our anniversary date I thought it would be fitting to share with you some of the things that we have learned over the years where love is concerned. My prayer is that they will encourage you to keep working toward and believing in truly loving one another.

    -Bishop T.D. Jakes

    Love Lesson 1

I believe the basis of all positive relationships is friendship. Real romance starts & ends on this shore. It may flow on the tide of insatiable passion or beat against the rocks of partnership and parenting. But when age has finished its gradual erosions and additions and all the children now have their children, if you can land the boat on the dock of friendship and join the elderly couples who go to the mall early in the morning purely to hold hands and walk, you have come full circle to the “Inseparable” bond of a friend for life!
